The 2006 survey!

*zet standwerkersstem op:* En zie hier, net als voorgaande jaren: The 2006 survey! *en stop maar weer met die standwerkersstem*

1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?

The first 5 things that come to mind, in no particular order:

Co-write and publish a book, go to Wooferland, get not one but two swimming diplomas, dove off a very high thingie at the swimmingpool and eaten brussel sprouts.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

No, I’m not into resolutions.

Yes, my cousin in Australia had a girl.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

No, but as you all know my cat Rood nearly died.

5. What countries did you visit?

No travels this year.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?

Peace and quiet and maybe even a little bit of boredom ;-)

My AlphaSmart. It’s genius.

11. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Everyone who tries to be a better and nicer person every day.

People who are now officially and forever out of my life.

13. Where did most of your money go?

Basic nescessities.

14. What thing did you get really, really, really excited about?

Seeing Madonna again, going to Wooferland, publishing that d$#@mn book.

"Swallow" by Emilie Autumn, it has been on my mp3 player and thus travelled with me everywhere I went.

a) happier or sadder? happier
b) thinner or fatter? Same I guess
c) richer or poorer? Same I guess

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Inline skating

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?

Like always: worrying (I should remember that worrying prevents joy, not disaster)

Over and over again!

22. How many one-night stands?

I don’t hate people, hating people f$#%cks up your karma.

Uh... I guess "The Simple living guide" by Janet Luhrs, which inspired me to continue downsizing on everything in life (quality over quantity).

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?

Fall Out Boy

A new computer, an AlphaSmart, my swimming diplomas.

28. What did you want and not get?

I turned 31 and went to see the movie “The Holiday” with my BFF.

More peace and quiet and maybe even a little boredom (see question no. 6)

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?

Still the urban princess thing… maybe I should let go of that ;-)

33. What kept you sane?

Writing, singing & dancing… although I still wouldn’t consider myself “sane” by “normal” standards, which IMHO is a good thing.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

Everyone at the House of LogPoes wants to have Pete Wentz's baby! ;-P

37. Who was the best new person you met?

I’m not playing favorites here, I met a lot of nice people this year.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006.

Enough is enough. (all together now: "No more teeears!")

39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.

"I'm a little man, and I'm also evil, also in to caaaaats!"
